Can we use the same card for Player Tracking and Cashless?
Yes, our GALAXIS™ Star|MARKETING module is integrated with chip cash™ for those customers wishing to benefit from the many additional options this brings.
If a player loses his/her chip cash™ card, do they also lose their money?
chip cash™ cards may be personalized, in which case they are associated with the player’s personal profile, or they may be used anonymously, with no personal identification required. When used anonymously this is comparable to cash or tickets – once lost, there is no way to trace the owner and reliably return the funds. However, a personalized card is a different matter. As each transaction and balance is ALSO stored centrally, the balance can be retrieved via the system and transferred to a replacement card, so the player’s funds are protected.
